MinneHONK! is back for the first weekend of May in 2026!
Join us for a festival of activist street bands from Minneapolis and across the country, with free and open-to-the-public performances on Friday, May 1st at Arbeiter Brewing; Saturday, May 2nd at George Floyd Square; and Sunday, May 3rd at the Powderhorn Park Mayday parade and festival.

Friday, May 1 • International Workers’ Day & MinneHONK! Eve Kickoff Party
Bands participating in MinneHONK! will play music and lead chants in the International Workers’ Day March on Lake Street, followed by a MinneHONK! Eve Kickoff Party with live music outdoors at Arbeiter Brewing and Moon Palace Patio. More details.
Saturday, May 2 • MinneHONK! at George Floyd Square
MinneHONK! will bring music to the George Floyd Square from 10:30am to 5:00pm. GFS Community Cleanup Day begins 9am. More details.
Sunday, May 3 • MinneHONK! at Powderhorn Park Mayday Festival
MinneHONK! all afternoon and evening! Bands will play in the Mayday Parade, the Tree of Life Ceremony, the MinneHONK! Stage (stage 4) in Powderhorn Park, and at the In the Spirit of MayDay Block Party outside Reverie Cafe and Modus Locus Gallery. More details.
